Articulating and Negotiating Change in the Australian Planning Profession

Research angle: I am investigating the dynamic tensions between the functional and social imperatives within the planning profession, and exploring these tensions in terms of their impact upon the changing identity, ethos and functionality of the profession as a whole. Furthermore, I am looking at finding ways to use collaboration from within the profession to articulate the consequences these dynamic impacts upon the individual planner, and find avenues to negotiate and direct collective (profession-based) change in a more positive and deliberative manner.
